This 5 day event kicked off with 3 days of music conferences for artists, musicians, mentors, & business professionals. Day 1 Consisted of informative panels covering a range of topics including music management, publishing, licensing, and technology! To top of the night, Toyota Music sponsored a private VIP dinner honoring musical icons Cee-Lo Green & Killa Mike. Days 2 & 3 focused on the digital marketing side of the business with guest attendees like Ryan Leslie, Freebandz, and Google. As brand ambassador for Ryan Leslie's Super Phone, Paul Lewis used this conference as an effective way to expose and promote the private smart phone platform. One special speaker to bless the panel was the legendary Master P! After 3 days of networking & soaking in all the useful nuggets, it was time to let loose at the weekend festivals. Friday, Saturday & Sunday was the time for music lovers to rejoice, eat at the tons of food trucks, and drink vodka. The Gears of War Main Stage was where the artists began to shine. With a retro 90's Hip Hop theme, this years top performers were Bone Thugs N Harmony, Treymayne & Scott Free, Bun B, Redman, Camron, Mystikal, and Too Short! More contemporary rappers included Rick Ross, Young Dolph, and Kap G, The big question on everyone's mind was why one of the most anticipated acts of the year, 21 Savage was no where to be found.
